Paramedical Specialist

*Medical history - every effort is made to obtain a complete and accurate medical history on your client.  Names, addresses, and phone numbers of any doctors or clinics your client may have seen is recorded.  Even if your client doesn't know the information, I will locate it through other sources.  Dates and reasons are very important to underwriting.

*Phlebotomy - this is the most anxiety producing event in the process.  It can make or break a deal!  I am very skilled in phlebotomy - 20 years experience!  Your client will say, "The blood draw didn't even hurt!"  They will love you for it!

*Urine samples - all clients are instructed to be prepared to give a urine sample.  But, even if they are not prepared, I will be patient and wait or return on another day.

*Vital signs - if your client's blood presure is a bit high on the first reading, I will teach your client relaxation tips to enable them to relax.  Usually, the pressure is high due to anxiety and not true hypertension. 

*Timed vital capacity - this is typically a lung capacity test using a "spirometer".  I will instruct your client on proper usage and encourage a good reading.

*EKG - I am trained and experienced - also 20 years experience obtaining EKG tracings.  It is very important to place the wires properly and have the client in a reclining position.  Improperly placed wires can produce a tracing that will show an incorrect reading. 

*Drug screens - all clients are asked if they have ingested any medications including prescriptions, vitamins, and over the counter medications and supplements.  Some over the counter medications can show up as illegal drugs on a drug screen!

*MD exams - all exams requiring a doctor will be forwarded to an MD.  Sometimes this is required due to your client's medical history, age, and/or amount being applied for.
